Ph.D. hardtalk is an academic YouTube seasonal series, hosted by Noma Mguni. My aim is to provide all PhD students, post-docs and teaching assistants with a voice outside of academia. The ethos of my channel is to entertain & educate the wider community through verbal discussion!

The discussions tend to focus on the candidate’s research, advice on applying for scholarships, PhD vacancies and much more. I have special segments that feature those in employment/industry.
I provide effective resources including upcoming PhD vacancies, scholarships and post-doc vacancies. I share opportunities to assist those that want to work in the industry (outside of academia). I offer coaching & mentoring segments for senior managers from different industries.
